# A practical field guide to AI visibility

By AEOlyzer

## 1. Begin with real audience questions

Write down the questions a buyer asks before choosing your category, product, or service. Include both questions that mention your brand and questions that do not. Keep the original wording so comparisons remain useful.

## 2. Separate mentions from citations

An answer can mention a brand without linking to it. A cited page can support an answer without recommending the company that owns it. Track both signals and read the answer before drawing a conclusion.

## 3. Look at the underlying evidence

Open the pages behind citations. Check whether their claims are specific, supported, and easy to follow. A competitor's presence is a clue to investigate, not proof that one particular change caused it.

## 4. Make useful pages easier to understand

Give each page a clear purpose and a descriptive title. Use meaningful headings, explain important entities, and identify who is responsible for the information. Keep internal links understandable and fix technical issues that prevent access.

## 5. Draft for the reader

Answer the question directly. Add the details someone needs to make a decision. Review sources and factual claims before publishing. Structured content can help a reader without turning every page into the same template.

## 6. Measure again with context

Keep dates, prompts, providers, markets, and configuration consistent where possible. AI answers vary. Compare repeated observations and record your changes instead of treating one answer as a final verdict.

## Your first working session

- Create a project for one website.
- Add the brand context and questions you want to track.
- Review visibility evidence and a site audit.
- Choose one useful change you can explain.
- Draft, review, and publish through your normal approval process.
- Return to the same questions and check what changed.
